Watched Croft on the weekend and no better than Croker, made 2 errors plus a falcon (not counted against him as an error) poor kicks and his soft attempted tackle led to the dogs first try. Croft is far more experienced in his 3rd season with the same club as well so should be miles ahead of Croker.

Croft is 20 years of age this year and he is in his 3rd season with the storm as you say from 17 years of age . What was Croker doing at 17 ? Like most kids playing in the kids league

TT was poor by his standards and one of the worst fullbacks in round 1. Made his usual errors but offered very little in attack compared to last year. Not sure if he had a niggle or in game cork etc but didn't get very involved.

The good news is he doesn't play that bad very often and we will see a much better round 2 from him.

Expecting big things from TT . We need him to be on song so we can sing our Victory song on Sunday

Agree, Stuart won a premiership as coach with a team entirely recruited and built by Graham Murray ...... he has been far less successful when the recruitment was his responsibility, to the point I would suggest he is not very bloody good a judge of talent ...

It appears with the happy clapping Raiders he has given up on trying to pick talent and has just gone with recruiting the biggest dumbest dirtiest thugs he can find and try to bash his way to another title ....

Ricky’s biggest issue is that he burns through halves like nobody else - has always chopped and changed halves most of his nrl coaching career. He has mucked around with them again this year.

Ricky was a great player, but as a jusdge of half backs he's never been hapy with anyone he's had play for him. None of them live up to the inflated impression he has of his own ability.

Ricky is more qualified to be a better judge than you and I as he has achieved all in the game and if you think other wise than believe what you think .
I agree with you that the Raiders did have the same type of players as Croker who are a dime a dozen and you have answered your own question there .
Croker was very thankful for our club for giving him an opportunity that Ricky didn't .

Yes I did say how good Croft was but just because you did not agree with me I didn't call you stupid .
All I have done is given my opinion on players performance on game 1 the way I saw it .

But as a coach you've got what you've got. The best coaches typically aren't the best players eg Bennet, Bellamy. They work with the players they have to create a game plan that will beat whoever they are playing on the day. Stuart see his halves and 2nd guesses any decision they made against what he would've done in the same situation, and sacks, drops or trades any that don't think the same as him. I think it effects his coaching as I reckon he plans the game as thought he will be the half and when the real half doesn't execute as he would've he blames that player for the loss instead of the faulty game plan that he came up with, if that makes sense.

I have not seen any game plan from Ricky before a game to know whether his players have followed it or not . Look what happened to the Sharks last night . They were leading by 2 tries to nil and they went into the second half with ill discipline play that cost them the game and I don't think that was in their coaches game plan .

That's what I did . I was not being a smart ass , all I did was give my honest opinion on how he played just like you did and everyone else on here . You rated him a 6/10 and I rated him a 4/10 .
Find me a post on here that I said he should be dropped . I agree with you that he should be given a few more games to see how he goes . As to how he went last week I will give you my honest opinion again , He went very ordinary. Looking forward to see how he goes on Sunday and for the sake of our team I hope he does well .
