Coincidence???

Here's another 'coincidence'.

Monaghan announces he's leaving. We lose our first game. Any similarities.

As for burns. I said in another thread that I though he was one of the blokes who needed to step it up a bit. But I was wrong. You don't notice it but he really does compliment Orford's game and is a mongrel in defence and effort. We did miss him tonight and I for one can't wait for his return.

none of the above.

they wanted it more. Simple. We won 6 in a row.. they lost 2 in a row.. it was inevitable the more we won the closer the loss was.

It was also the best team weve played this year.

The whole team was ****e. Burns would have stopped two of their tries imo, then we win. There was a clear reluctance to run forward for some reason. Did they think they could run around their fast men? Crazy tactics. Run forward, make metres, then spread the ball. Simple really.

Burns ability to twist in any direction and bring down an attacking play is phenominal. Watching from the Southern Stand at Brookie last week I really got to understand how sensational he is. His presence may have contributed to us getting closer.
