Did sacking Tooves fix anything you say ?
No it did not fix anything because after Toovey we did not upgrade to better coaches that were capable of fixing anything

After Toovey we got Barrett and he got sacked by Manly and got the Spoon at the Dogs and Got sacked there as well . Now he is demoted to assistant coach


After Barrett we got the Declining Des mark 2 who was sacked by the Dogs and was sacked by Manly and he is now under pressure for underperforming taking the Titans to the bottom of the ladder and getting sacked again


After the Declining Des we Got the wooden spooner and Mother of all excuses and No solutions under pressure, The proud of the way his players played in a losing game Seibold

The moral of your story
You can not fix anything if you invest in coaches that are not capable of fixing anything

As for Penn
He has failed his own principles of getting results for Manly in a results driven business

I agree Demetrious is probably the logical choice. But he didn't really do anything with Souths teams that included Latrell, Wighton, Walker, Cook etc. Would he be any better with the bunch we have??

They’ve had way more injuries than us till now.

Heard Gus Gould running through how many players have been used for each club, we were just below the average on 25 players used. The best was 23 (Raiders) and the worst was 31 (Eels). Think the Dogs were at 28 paluerd and the Chooks were up around there too

What a record Seibold has the potential to achieve, maiden wooden spoons at 2 proud clubs who had never had them

I don't think Simpkin is a star but he needs to be in our 17.

Our best footy in the last 6 weeks have had him starting and Jazz at lock.

Seibold has definitely lost me going back to the Croker at 9 and Jake at 13 combo.

In the post-match press conference after a 26-point loss to the Knights (4th in a row) he called out his players for not having the right attitude and not playing like first graders... but that the change had to come from the players to fix that.

Seibold isn't as direct in his post-match press conferences, but I don't think our situation is that much different.

As for Penn

Toovey coached us to our last Grand Final appearance in 2013 and was sacked by the Penns a couple of years later
Des got us in the top four in 2021 and was again sacked by the Penns
As a club we have never won a comp without some form of Manly DNA in the head coaching roles
Will leave it at there
Last nights performance at CBus was the most piss pour lack of performance, lack of care performance I have seen since the early seventies
