I can't get on board with Jazz week in week out. Just doesn't offer anything at 9.

And yet after Froggy returns to the side, guaranteed within 2 weeks Simpkin is back in NSW Cup and Froggy will be playing 80 minutes.

Every game so far in 2025 in the periods when we have actually put points on the board, its been with Simpkin at dummy half and not Jazz. I'm not for a moment saying its all the kids work, but it certainly helps having a proper dummy half and not a transplanted middle forward.

Not one other NRL or even ESL team would be starting Jazz Tevaga at hooker unless they literally had no one else.

So why the hell are we starting him there?? Didn't we buy the guy to be a middle forward?? Yet Seibold has him at starting hooker FFS all while of the 2 actual hookers we have, one is on the bench, the other in NSW Cup 🤷‍♂️

With Paseka out wouldn't it make more sense to be using Jazz as a middle forward??

100% we actually had some leg speed through the middle & were cutting them to bits with 12 men. Jakes days at lock have to be over, the game has moved passed him & everyone can see it except the coaching staff. There is still a roll for him as a prop but his slow leg speed & poor ball playing don’t help, Especially with Turbo out

Since Tooves, we've been rolling through coaches, and it's almost like nothing has changed. It's almost like the coach is scapegoated, and that someone else, or rather, two particularly constant individuals are to blame? No, can't be!

Just sign and pick a side that can compete in the middle and the rest will come.

Flanno even said pregame we know they will send it wide, and won’t play in the middle. We are so predictable it must be easy preparing a team to play us. Just roll down the middle, and make sure you cover the early tackle spreads.

That was always going to be excuse no.1. So much for all that offseason training in dealing with chaos. I guess scheduling a sneaky swim day instead of a wrestling session doesn’t really prepare you for playing 3 games in 11 days.

At this stage we could loose to the Bye and he would come out saying he is “really proud of the effort” take some accountability ffs. Does anyone actually believe he is the right person to nurture our developing young players into stars? I can’t see how with these useless game plans and lack of attacking/defence nouse. We look sharper attacking from our 10m than the opponents. In the words of his best mentor I wish he would just go uppercut himself.
