It's a bit weird that we went backwards, as did the Storm, when we both had much better seasons than 2023.

Also surprised by how few supporters for the Bulldogs there are, relative to the Eels. You won't see the Eels supporters turning up like the Bulldogs. Weak as piss those lot.

Turbo is going to be on Nine's 100% Footy on Monday night.

Hopefully he doesn't come out with any surprises (unlike certain others), but then he has more class than to do that...
Yeah, hope he wears Manly gear and says, yeah I am willing to take a paycut just so I can stay at Manly, not Like some other individual I wont mention names but this club means the world to me, not like some other individuals,NOT mentioning any names lol

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if turns out to be a shot at DCE. It’s safe to say we know how the brothers felt when the Dollar Chaser went on 100% footy.
I can see this panning out a positive singing announcement/extension for Tommy and a subtle f you to DCE. Manlys attempt at wrestling back the PR battle.

Will be watching with interest!

I'm actually quite nervous about this one, could be one of 4 things, leaving Manly, taking a pay cut, playing centre, or talking up our prospects for the remaining games. Hoping it's the later.

Would love the Roosters to go cold on $C€ & not sign him up as per rumours floating around. He’d look like a real goose & come out of this with egg on his face after his decision to dump on Manly on live TV! As it is I’m pretty sure he won’t be playing 1st grade at the Roosters anytime soon especially after the way Hugo Savala & Sandon Smith have performed plus Walker back soon! Maybe forced into retirement Lolol. Interesting times ahead.

He might take next season off, then try for Mal's Perth Bears and the big $$'s in 27.

From Christian Nicolussi, SMH:

Tom Trbojevic trains at right centre in a new-look edge for Manly

Tom Trbojevic’s move to the centres looks official with the Sea Eagles’ star training in the outside backs on Monday.

Lehi Hopoate will wear the No. 1 jersey, with Trbojevic and Reuben Garrick the new-look right edge heading into Friday’s crunch game against the Wests Tigers.

As revealed by this masthead last week, coach Anthony Seibold wanted to shift ‘Turbo’ in a bid to spark some form and help him regain confidence after an injury-plagued season.

Trbojevic has started at centre just five times in 160 NRL games – round 18 last year, and rounds 11, 14, 15, and 16 in 2016. But he has also proven a revelation in the position when playing there for NSW and Australia.

Should Trbojevic remain in the centres – and Hopoate shines in the custodian role – it will no doubt raise questions about Trbojevic’s value when he negotiates a new deal at his junior club beyond 2027.

The Trbojevic move may have an impact on Garrick’s future, who has made it known he prefers centre to wing, and more than held his own at centre during the past 18 months.

It’s not only a big week for Trbojevic, but also Seibold whose immediate future is in the spotlight after successive losses to the lowly Knights and Titans.

Manly CEO Tony Mestrov was hardly glowing in his appraisal of Seibold when he said: “At the moment, Seibs is safe at this point.”

Should Manly lose to the Tigers, who were the better team for much of the night despite losing to Canberra last Friday, expect the pressure to be turned up a notch on the coach who is signed until the end of 2027.

Assistant Mick Ennis and former Manly player Matt Ballin, who is currently working with the Broncos, have been touted as potential replacements.

In a show of unity, most of the NRL players turned up to watch the club’s NSW Cup side play on Saturday night, including injured backrower Haumole Olakau’atu. Olakau’atu said of Seibold: “Seibs is a good fella, the boys have his back, and he’s got our back as well. Whatever is [being said] out there and on the socials, it’s just that. Inside the circle we’re all sweet.”

Some other key takeouts from training was Tola Koula and Tommy Talau teaming up on the left edge, winger Jason Saab watching training with his right knee in a compression sleeve, Jazz Tevaga running with the starting team at hooker, and Corey Waddell at right second-row.

Trbojevic will front the media on Monday afternoon as part of a club partnership announcement.

Jazz Tevaga running with the starting team at hooker,
I was thinking of posting here, that they should move Jazz back there, as a pisstake... But they're actually doing it??? Just play Simpkin there, and get Jazz to do 10, if you don't want Croker in the side! Insane decision.

I mean, we have ironically played our best games with Jazz at hooker. But that was more in spite of it, than because of it... Who knows. Maybe we put 40 on the Tigers with Jazz's magical hooker performances... Lol.

Far out we need a new hooker.

Other parts are interesting... Talau being played on the left, despite playing right wing earlier in the year, and Garrick moved away from the wing, that he won a Dally M Winger award playing on. I can only assume this is to have two speedsters in Koula and Garrick, on either side.

Saab always injured...
