Club News 2025

The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are proud to announce an exciting new partnership with The Athlete’s Foot, one of Australia’s leading footwear retailers, renowned for its commitment to performance, fitting expertise, and community engagement.

The partnership will see The Athlete’s Foot become an official Corporate Partner of the Sea Eagles during the 2025 NRL season. This partnership brings together two well-established and trusted brands that share a passion for excellence, movement, and delivering results – both on the field and in everyday life.

A major feature of the partnership will be The Athlete’s Foot Mini League, which gives local junior rugby league teams a chance to shine during half-time at Sea Eagles home games.

The initiative highlights a shared commitment to grassroots sport and community involvement, with The Athlete’s Foot branding to be featured prominently across various game day assets throughout the season.

Tony Mestrov, Sea Eagles CEO, welcomed the new partnership.

"We’re thrilled to welcome The Athlete’s Foot to the Sea Eagles family,” said Mestrov.

They are a brand that aligns well with our club on many levels, and the connection to grassroots footy is also very important

“This new partnership will offer great benefits for our members and fans, and we’re excited to work together on some exciting initiatives”.

Heidi Fisher, The Athlete’s Foot Head of Marketing, echoed the sentiment.

"Partnering with a proud and successful club like the Sea Eagles is a natural fit for us,” said Fisher.

We believe in the power of sport to inspire and unite, and we're excited to bring that energy to life through this collaboration

As part of the partnership, fans can look forward to exclusive offers and in-store experiences, at The Athlete’s Foot stores exclusively across the Northern Beaches, including Warringah Mall, Warriewood, and Mosman.

To celebrate the launch of this exciting partnership, Sea Eagles Members and fans are invited to an in-store event at The Athlete’s Foot Warringah Mall on Monday 5th May, between 3.30pm-4.30pm.

Come down to meet Sea Eagles players, grab a selfie with our beloved mascot Egor, and experience the cutting-edge ‘My Fit 3D’ foot scanning technology firsthand.

All who attend this event will receive a 20% discount in-store, plus, the first 100 attendees will score a free ticket to the blockbuster Sea Eagles v Sharks match on Sunday 11th May – don’t miss out!

Does it really matter if he chooses to play origin…. He has just as much chance of getting injured in his next nrl game. To be honest isn’t there more chance of Turbo getting injured playing origin than DCE?
I think the gripe is more how taxing the whole origin series is and what it leaves left in the tank for the season to go.

Not surprised though, don't think it was ever really an option he really considered in himself
