Jakey is what this club is all about. He cops a bit of stick from us supporters at times, but he's no different to us except like a passionate supporter, he gets to play, live and breathe what we supporters dream of doing for Manly. All class and not one negative thing he would say about the club he loves. If you look up Manly Sea Eagles in the dictionary, it should have a picture of Jake. Definitely there's no other player in the NRL more passionate about his club than Jake. What a champion, what an ambassador and what a wonderful person. 👏👏

Jake is a bloody superstar. Speaks from the heart and no doubt from the interview that he is pissed at DCE and how the announcement was made. No doubt he will take a pay cut to continue playing for us and although it won’t happen, I wish he takes over as captain now.

Made my week.
Love how he said he doesn't care what club he (DCE) goes to, he cares about Manly.
This is the attitude we want playing for us. Cherry can go chase his dollars.
