Club News 2025

After a good effort from the media team last year to keep us level with the best clubs regarding info,it is a step down this year.
So many puff pieces about the draw blah blah whilst ignoring some signings etc....
Last year they also named the junior summer squads on Nov 9 and here we are 23rd of Nov and nothing.
Pull your finger out and do your job in the offseason, not really that hard to do what you are paid to do.......
You’re a bit tough Joe!

Just sayin’

Did i read we were close to 20,000 members. Thats a huge improvement. Given every game is going to be close to a sell out. We should exceed that mark comfortably. Shame we cant get around 22,000 - 25,000 into a game.
I haven't seen anything on our member numbers for 12 months. I asked the club middle and again late this season and got no reply.

An NRL membership tracker in June 2023 had us at 15,766. If we had actually got to 20,000 an increase of 27%, in a year, would be a huge result.

I think last year we were slightly under 19000. It was a record, with the draw and home games this year it would be great to crack the 20000 mark
Hello feathered friend @The Wheel and I hope all is well in your Eagle nest ...

Like Birds of a feather Manly people belong together
We may all not get along
But we all are proudly privileged to belong to the Greatest club of all

Home is where our passionate Manly heart is
Our home away from home is our Legendary Manly Sea eagles club

The Greatest sports love story is loving Manly and belonging to our Beloved Manly club
So remember to become a member and feel the Manly love

I emailed the club & asked for our 2024 number….no reply. I emailed again & mentioned I will not renew for 2025 without a reply. Next day I received a reply….17900 at the time.
when was that?

They are great figures, but you think the club would share the good news (occasionally)
The key word from your post is "Great"

When we call our selves Great ! Who we compare our selves determines just how great we truly are

Our Test of Membership Greatness ....
The Eels have aprx 33000 club members
The Rabbits have aprx 31000 club members
The Melbourne Storm who are in the dogmatic AFL region have aprx 29000 club members
The Woeful three times in a row Wooden spoon Tigers club have aprx 20000 club members

We have arpx 18000 club members and when you compare our numbers against those club above We can put things in Great perspective just how Great our numbers are

I have been a club member in our Great times and Ordinary times
Great Manly people have always made Manly Great
And I believe it is very Ordinary to say that you follow Manly and not be a club member and belong to our Legendary club just like all those other passionate club members mentioned above

Club owners , Ceos , Coaches , Players and Supporters all play a role in just how Great their club can be
We all need to step up another level and Make Manly Great again

The thing is Bozo, I believe that Parramatta still roll leagues’ club membership in with football club/season ticketholder membership.

There may be other clubs pulling similar confidence tricks.

Manly does not do that and our football club memberships (and some of those members may not hold season tickets) are not included either.*

*To the best of my knowledge

Good example is Broncos apparently include Suncorp Stadium members in their numbers

Good morning feathered friends @The Wheel and @Terry Zarsoff
The key world from your post is Example

The broncos were not part of my post Example
The Examples were the Rabbits the Eels the AFL territory Storm and the Wooden spooners

In regards to @Terry Zarsoff claim about the Eels roll over leagues footty club membership
I rang the The Eels club just now and they told me that there is no roll over option
You are either a leagues club member or a footy club member

Last but not Least
Being a Great Example is the Greatest form of Service to our Legendary Manly Club
and we are known as the Legendary Manly club because of our Past Premiership Winning Examples We do not want to be keep living decade after decade in our past Glory

Time to stop focusing on Excuses and Start setting Great Examples
So We can Soar like Great Eagles and Make Manly Great Again !!!

Parramatta own The Viking Sports Club at Dundas and the Dural Country Club ands when you join either one of them you get a Parra Leagues Membership. Plus the Western Sydney Wanders fans fill the leagues club after home games during summer and I expect I lot of them are members of the Leagues Club by convenience. These prop up their membership numbers a tad.

Sounds like Parra is a better run business than Penn and Manly have going.
