A bit more about our one off, NZ game, non betting company sponsor, Ebury.

The Manly Sea Eagles would like to welcome Ebury who will appear on the front of the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles jersey for this Saturday’s match against the Warriors at Go Media Stadium in Auckland.

This opportunity has been enabled due to the Gaming Act of 2003 in New Zealand prohibiting marketing for international gambling businesses for any betting firm that operates outside of the country

Ebury is a global foreign exchange company that operates from 31 offices across 5 continents, specialising in cross-border payments, foreign exchange risk management and can process transactions in more than 130 currencies.

Rick Roache, Managing Director – APAC, said Ebury were more than pleased to partner with the Sea Eagles.

certainly a hell of a lot better than this:

Champion choc-chips … Glenn and Brett Stewart.

What ever happened to that NZ connection thing we had running a few years back, when we had that Maori design jersey and that?!
It was the sort of thing that ScoMo would dream up, like an episode of Utopia. No substance to it and a smokescreen to disguise disfunction at home.

Lawton to Cows.
I think that probably means the club is happy with GCKT and Humphries coming through to support Froggy. Ennis would have been putting plenty of time working with the youngsters. We'll probably see GCKT or Humphries on the bench more often and Lawton playing for Workers.
