Club News 2022

I knew that would be an obvious response, which is why I included Jake as vice captain. Negative thinking never brings successful results. Other players have overcome injury prone early careers, so there's no reason why Turbo can't the do same.

Edit: Is it better to have an inspiring captain some of the time or a non inspiring captain all the time? 🙂

Hahaha you’re kidding yourself, go through my posts. Most of my posts are positive thinking, telling people to move forward in most cases. You’ve just got an agenda against me because I supported the 7. Don’t worry I see every post that you like supporting people with differing opinions to me, and that is fine. You’re entitled to me. But I know most people around here agree with 90% of what I say.
You need to spend your time more efficiently, I know there’s not much up budgewoi way.

Gotcha! Lighten up kiddo 🤣🤣🤣

I wish he was staying. It has been a journey these past few years far out. Go Dylan!
Yeah. Have to say I haven't always been happy with him on and off field for us, and I wasn't real happy when he joined us either, but he's matured into an excellent bench player over the last two years as well as maturing overall. Wish him nothing but good things in his life and his time at the Warriors.

Who's that absolute bruiser of a bloke who escorts the team on & off the field?

He looks a right hard nut, I wouldn't want to get on his wrong side!

Actually seems like a fairly affable type of individual and to have been doing the job for ages . Sure that he would have plenty of insights into the or on some of the things Manly over the years . But for sure also , definitely does have a certain presence .

Nowhere NEAR the respect level he deserves around here. He got basically pushed out for the likes of DCE & more of these current mob coming through wanting more $$$. No wonder he had the ****s - he loved our club with all his heart.

Now we've got these no-heart, passionless drones playing for their fortnightly pay and nothing more - hence we've been crap ever since.
I agree, but his playing days were over - he gave it up for us.

I still can't believe we managed to self destruct over a jersey with some rainbow coloured stripes. It defies belief in a modern professional sporting world. Only Manly could manage something so utterly fuking ridiculous. Where is the apologies from the decision makers responsible for this madness. Where is the accountability for this complete failure of a season to members, sponsors, ticket holders and supporters who consume their merchandise.

Try Gary Wolman’s silent number. Oh wait..

The Donkeys managed it, and didn't even need appalling management as a motivation.
However, at least they have some hope for next season, signing Reece Walsh. We haven't any hope.

It's been posted before, but here it is again.

Now, I'm not sure if voting is closed, but no matter what link I clicked on, I couldn't get to vote (just took me on a circular journey).

Well done Sean.

Sean Keppie regularly devotes free time to working with various disability support services and the Manly prop believes he is always richer for the experience.

"It's that feeling you get when you help someone achieve little goals, especially for what I do with the kids with disabilities," Keppie said.

"It makes you feel good, just knowing that you made them happy ... It just makes you look at life a different way. It humbles you."

The 23-year-old, who is heavily involved in Sea Eagles programs, has been recognised with a nomination for the NRL's esteemed Ken Stephen Medal
