Yep. I remember watching that remarkable win from the comfort of the Peninsular RSL Club.
It’s identical to our iconic jersey through the 90s bar the sponsor on the front. Personal opinion but I think they did a good job replicating a classicI notice that the club has released yet another jersey; a Retro Pepsi version.
It looks terrible.
I find it hard to imagine that many supporters would buy it -- nor any of the other 'special edition' jerseys -- and I wonder if the club/NRL actually make a return on investment from such merchandise.

Think it's more the lines at the top of the right sleeve, they are very difficult to pull off with the current template.Sorry to be pedantic, unfortunately they aren't identical. One sleeve should be white.
Maybe they didn't do that due to our sponsors font being white.
I thought good sorts were encouraged to attend? Some poor publicity in the latest -- and last -- edition of The Northern Beaches Review, which was an excellent weekly local publication that attempted to take the place of the defunct Manly Daily.
The editor wrote that the magazine was being forced to close due to costs and the fact that the Council, and the Manly Sea Eagles, had not backed the publication with advertising support as they had promised. Here is a relevant section of the editorial:
"The Manly Sea Eagles also said no to an ad, after requesting a man -- well, "not a woman" -- conduct an interview with two of their identities..."
If this is true it is shameful on at least two counts:
1. The Review has always run positive stories on the Sea Eagles and been helpful in promoting the club and upcoming matches. Local publications need advertising support to survive, and this was a cracker of a magazine. It will be sorely missed.
2. The club needs to get with the times if it is discriminating between female and male journalists.
Just my opinion but I reckon it’s its a cracker. It’s a little bit different than the original but I will be investing in one.I notice that the club has released yet another jersey; a Retro Pepsi version.

I'm surprised that several Silvertails, like yourself, will be purchasing the jersey. Guess I'm in the minority, and that it is financially worthwhile for the club to release jersey after jersey.Just my opinion but I reckon it’s its a cracker. That’s a very good point. 🤷♂️I haven't bought a jersey in years but definitely will get this one. So if I get large in the dynasty brand will it be the same size as ISC large ones?
I might go try one on, to make sure it can get over my pecs, triceps etc.I haven't bought a jersey in years but definitely will get this one. So if I get large in the dynasty brand will it be the same size as ISC large ones?
That was a crappy-looking jersey at the time. The design seemed to be driven by the sponsor’s requirements. It’s identical to our iconic jersey through the 90s bar the sponsor on the front. Personal opinion but I think they did a good job replicating a classic
Keep me updated on this. The large ISC has breathing space on me and I just need to know that the large Dynasty jersey is similar fit.I might go try one on, to make sure it can get over my pecs, triceps etc.
