Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will celebrate the NRL Indigenous Round by wearing an Indigenous jersey featuring the great Cliff Lyons.

Titled ‘The Lyons’ Den’, this superb artwork has been designed by Lee Anthony Hampton (Koori Kicks Art). The design is now available for pre-order at our Official Sea Eagles Superstore.

Swamp-dwelling Gecko God who manufactures monsoons


A god who looks like a Gecko, he's 100 meters long. Ipilya looks very identical to the god Kulta, who is a giant serpent. His lives in a swamp large enough to house him, believed to be the Numarika Swamp on Groote Eylandt.

Ipilya is in charge of thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and monsoons. During the monsoon season, he slurps up large amounts of water, and spits it into the sky to make rain clouds.

The monsoons begin when Ipilya roars into the sky. Once the season ends, he crawls back into his swamp until the next year
