I've said this 1000 times. Results don't mean jack in the lower grades. Its about player development. I couldn't care less if our reserve teams got pumped every week as long as the players are improving and those who are potential first grade material work hard on their game. I actually think its beneficial to be playing in a team that struggles a bit coming up through the grades as it helps prepare you for the monster difference in quality to first grade. How many gun junior players have failed to take the next step because they spent their entire junior career being the big dog and don't really know how to work hard?
