We are catching up, come on keep it up!

I was only 12 the last time i remember Cliffy playing, I would love to see how he played since I have forgotten.

Just in front now - about 33.5%
Still remember that game - Kevin Iro was in form & Cliffy...magician!!

One of best finals games I've ever seen. And Mk your spot on about Kevin iro and Cliffy, their the 2 players I remember from that game. It was definitely Kevin Iros best game for the club.

Which week two finals match do you want to see again?

Minor Semi-Final 1991: Sea Eagles v Raiders

34.93%

Minor Semi-Final 1994: Bears v Broncos

31.91%

First Semi-Final 1995: Knights v Sharks

33.16%

Bloody Gary Coyne!

Kevin Iro was immense that day. He didn't play many great games for us, but he usually saved his best for Big Mal.

Who was our hooker for that game. I dont remember him. I tuned in after about 10 mins and thought it was Tooves until they showed him on the sideline.

Our hooker was Danny Russell I think. A young Queenslander. I didn't watch it last night but remember he was the big selection bombshell by Lowey for that game. He went well.

Seeing the game also remembering we had Saturday afternoon games in the warmth of the spring weather! That was great about semi’s at that time.

The crowd was 34,707 - 1991 Minor Semi Final: Canberra Vs Manly (played Saturday afternoon).

Someone explain the semi’s in the 1990’s prior to live TV with the good crowds:

“A 35,000 attendance in some cases was classed as sold out game due to SCG/SFS Members not turning up and leaving vast banks of seat unoccupied. The four week final series was marketed differently back then. To purchase a grand Final ticket, you had to buy a four week final series package. Also, people from the country could pre purchase tickets and make a weekend of it in Sydney for the first three weeks of the series. Even season Ticket folders had to go into a ballet for Grand Final tickets. So with Grand Final Packages, pre sold seats and member allocations, not a lot of tickets were available for walk ups”.

Other semi final crowds in the era all at the SFS (1990 to 1994):

1990 Major Semi Final: Penrith Vs Canberra – 35,263

1991 Minor Semi Final: Canberra Vs Manly – 34,707
1991 Major Semi Final: Penrith Vs Norths – 38,635
1991 Preliminary Final: Canberra Vs Norths – 39,665

1992 Minor Semi Final: St George Vs Newcastle – 38,772
1992 Major Semi Final: Brisbane Vs Illawarra – 38,859
1992 Preliminary Final: St George Vs Illawarra – 38,928

1993 Minor Preliminary Semi Final: Brisbane Vs Manly – 38,432
1993 Minor Semi Final: Brisbane Vs Canberra – 33,893

1994 Minor Semi Final: Norths Vs Brisbane – 36,011
1994 Major Semi Final: Canterbury Vs Canberra – 41,865
1994 Preliminary Final: Canberra Vs Norths – 41,941

But I was under the impression David Gallop was good for the game, and it had never been stronger
