I agree, I don't know how long before the Warriors have a rebellion (understandably so), plus we are not flattening the infection curve as of today (getting worse every day). It is great to continue to be entertained but I fear the season will be stopped soon.

Yeah I think bringing Schuster to the side is inevitable and a positive, Walker was good today but looks like he is filling in at 6. I don't think we can have a 50-50 player like Jorge if we aspire to top 4.

I was a little frustrated by bombing to Tupou every 5th tackle. But I now see the game plan a little clearer.

mostly manly wasn’t in their 20, so grubbers not an option. Best to kick it away from teddy. Tupou is safe But it was good to hammer him and get him gassed, because he is usually dangerous against manly.

also pinning them in his left corner meant they were relatively predictable in attack for those early tackles. It was a game of chess and I think that was des’s plan to grind the game out. Boring but effective.
Thank you... makes a lot of sense.

As much as I like Jorge Taufua, the problem is that outside of the odd big hit and some of his early tackle runs, he really doesn't offer anything anymore.

  • He's 50/50 at best under a bomb.
  • He has no pace for a winger.
  • His turn and chase is poor.

I do hate to say it but we might be better off moving Walks to centre, Croker to 5/8, Suli to the wing and Jorge at best (though unlikely) to either come off the bench as an impact forward or out of the side altogether with either Schuster or Cust onto the bench (also unlikely).

When Hank Scorpio is making breaks and you're flat out just to keep up ... that's not good for a winger because the Ginger Ninja is not the fastest of centres going around.

Although in saying that, if the competition is still playing after this mornings non-essential travel ban by the federal government, its not up to any of us. Des is the coach and he knows more about it than we do.

I'm going to enjoy seeing Keppie play for Blacktown, he and Boyle are bog standard so I'm shocked parra has yet to offer them a million a season for 6 years from age 33 onwards

Obviously Sipley makes the team and I'm hoping Guac can keep improving, we haven't had a body like his while still being an alpha surely I'm forgetting our other bench prop but it do be like that

Anyone who It's panicking about us missing the gf let alone the finals is a mouth breathing moron who simply doesn't understand the Hasler-Singe preseason hangover is an actual thing, look at 06 through to 11 and we were always **** early

For those of us mentioned above put money on is losing rounds 24 and 25 while your there as there's always a ramping up in training intensity at this exact time for our fitness, we will look broken but explode going into the finals proper

The real manly will reveal itself in the coming weeks, ****ing relax

The worst call of the match was turbo contesting an attacking Bomb against teddy, turbo knocked on in the field of play and roosters were given 7 tackles on the 20

Great to get the win though!

Tommy played on from there and actually kicked the ball dead so Roosters get the 20m tap and 7 tackles as it is the bigger advantage. Bit of a silly play by Tom but one of those rules we dont seem implemented very often

That can't be right mate, doesn't it always go back to the first error?

Yeah I don’t think that is correct Robbo
Once Tom knocked on it is still play on at that time, the Roosters could still pick up the ball and run the length and score a try so Tom has effectively kicked dead a "live ball" hence the ruling

Horhey is looking fit as a fiddle, better than a long time, he'll come good....
