I’m tired of Jake......offers nothing to the team. Garrick, Parker, Jake, Saab to Blacktown! This is so disappointing & wonder coach Des leaves X factor Schuster out. Fvcking disappointing.

Des should drop DCE and play Foran at 7 and Schuster in the 6. Problem solved ! I can't believe how bad dce has been. Terrible it looks like he is on debut and ****ting himself

Des’ inability to pull together a first grade quality squad and drill us defensively is costing us.

So parker and garrick have destroyed us and i bet you des picks them next week...we have players that play for paycheck and not passion and it is a major reason why we fail..they should be dropped and held accountable..its simple..the start of the season is crucial and if you cant step up you go to the bench and another gets the opportunity till you find a balanced squad..des has no idea and that is why we lose trials and early rounds..have a look at our last 15 games and that will tell you all..turn up to work with no real passion happy to get a win but you know if we dont then thats kool we got next week only to turn up with the same bull**** and bull**** makers time after time..players need to fight for their spot and until then we are doomed with inconsistent boring footy unfortunately

For a sliding defence to work, you need the backs to be fast as to not get burnt on the outside, then players to number up and gang tackle.

Our backs actually run backwards and are just too slow. They need to react faster and move up and shut it down otherwise Teddy will just keep killing us

Not to mention that's 10 losses in 11 games. Shame we beat the Bulldogs. Would love to hear what Des Hasbean could say to polish that ?

Wow, that is just so fuking depressing. It’s this great clubs 75th year and we honestly look like we have the spoon in the bag, by far we are the worst team in the competition at the moment. And yes, it clearly looks like the game has passed Des by..

Um, so Croker hasn't been our worst player. Neither has Walker. But we've been absolutely useless anyway.

No use picking on individual players (if I did, Cherry would be right up near the top for his momentum shifting gifts to the opposition) when the team defence is this bad. I have never seen a Manly team so passive in defence. For some reason, we're willing to give up metre after metre if defence, presumably in the belief that opposition teams will be as bad in the attacking zone as we are.

It's such a huge problem and we're never going to get anywhere until it's fixed. Either Des doesn't see it, which doesn't seem likely, or he doesn't know how to fix it. It's just embarrassing. Doesn't matter where the opposition get the ball, we're in danger every single set.

The trial already showed how weak this club is, in addition to what we say the last 12 rounds of last year when this squad became a bonafide joke.
I hope this club can survive this. With the current salary cap system we will be permanent minnows from now on.

They were not out numbered a lot of times, its just their first instinct. They need to move up first then slide, but they are just too slow and to be honest, very weak defenders. Their technique is terrible. Roosters use the slide but do it a lot better

Surprising game. The poor performer for manly is dce. The first 20 min was actually ok. Then that parka error and the dce dumb kick screwed up the early promise.

Boyle going ok. Jake is running more than passing which is good.

crap effort by Garrick for the teddy try.

The players I thought would be the weak links aren’t, it is the halfback who needs to put his hand up.
