Think it's a bridge too far tonight. If Turbo was fully fit I'd have more confidence but I think they'll find him out tonight and really punish him. Pretty hard playing a club that's clearly way over the cap and just gloats in it's ability to cheat. Rorters 22 Manly 12.

They have 11 marquee players (and that's not even including Watson who is now an Origin player). All except Collins and Radley were recruited after they were already big stars.

Yep they are the most sickening fraud of a club in the nrl. All because of money , influence and power otherwise they would be down in bottom 4 or NSW cup with Newtown and Norths.

Sounds bad to say, but if Manly loses I'll still be satisfied if we lose the way the Dogs lost - playing their best but not quite good enough on the day.

If the refs are fair dinkum tonight and haven't played golf today with the Politis we will do Ok. Guaranteed JWH does something stupid and goes to bin. I think we will win if they don't penalise us out of the game. Next week we are gone. Melb way better than us and they have a week off.

Personally I'm not expecting us to win no matter who is missing from the Chooks. So if we do its a bonus.

Given that there were times during the year when I thought we wouldn't even make it to the Finals.....getting to at least week 2 has been more than expected.

Exactly it, I don't like saying im not feeling confident of a win because it sounds bad, buts it's more than just not being good enough on the day, the Rorters are cheats, they have a blown out salary cap, and the refs give them the calls when it matters.
So if we fall short against this mob, sure I'll be dissapointed, but if the Manly we know can play turn up and get pipped I'm proud.

All this talk about them having lots of injuries. Other than walker and smith they are full strength. Their backline is full of current or former origin/internationals. God only knows how they are under the cap

I guess in my mind,considering all the talk mid season was walker forcing dce to retire from origin next season as his form is getting to hard to ignore, would be considered a massive out.
If we went into tonight without dce I would give us about 5% chance to win ..
Any time a team goes into a game missing their 7 and 9 I think they should be underdogs

No doubt they will have the game plan to target turbo.... that's why I wouldn't mind a late minute switch and turbo to wing/centre for the first 20 just to put the roosters off! 😃

Roosters are no longer a top 4 team with those two huge outs. If our forwards can get close to matching it with the Roosters I think we will have just too much class and attacking flair for the Roosters to match.

Just looking at young Hoppa. A penny for his thoughts. Win or lose, I can’t remember a kid that has come from nowhere a cpl of months ago to being talked up as one of the players to watch in a major semifinal. All at 19. Go you good thing!
