Over the past few years we have been using a standard design for the site. With that standard design we decided to take away the front and other pages of the site, as most discussion seemed centralized around the forums and people tended less to head to the news and articles. They preferred to discuss them inline.
That's fine but meant we needed to make an overall tactical shift on the website to focus just on the forums and discussion with additional content such as the game threads and more. We will be adding to those next year as well with MVP voting and a few more items.
Collaboratively we are working closely with the guys at BroncosHQ and NZWarriors and we will be making some investments between us in features.
Additionally we were approached about having a fully custom theme built for the site and we decided it was probably time to have that to make us stand apart a little bit. So we invested some money in having the customized theme created and that is what you see today. We are sure there will be some areas that need some slight tweaking and changes and please let us know anything you come across.
We hope that you enjoy the new experience, these things don't come easily or cheaply but we are constantly trying to improve the site for you all.
We know there is a lot of advertising on the site and we are working to try and see where we can drop some especially the vignette, they help fund the site and costs though. One new feature added to premium membership is the ability to hide the right hand section of the site which gives you a better viewing experience.
