Cartwright

Tom wright has never played one nrl game at 5/8. Its a crucial position and we cannot have an untried rookie player there again next year like we did this year with crocker. Tom wright hasn't even being playing 5l8 in reggies, he has been playing centre.

I would like norman to partner dce but he would be too expensive.
I rate Norman as a player but personally don't want him at our club after our Andrew Johns and Jackson Hastings sagas... bad culture breeds poor performance...

We need a good prop winger and half
Id offer nofoluma a 2 year deal and try for klemmer as for a half who is there? Id rather try tom Wright
Experienced, Great line running and Defensively Tough second rower. like Watmough but obviously not Watmough.
Go all out for a Wade Graham, Josh Jackson, Dale Finucane, Gavin Cooper or a guy that can link up with DCE and score plenty like Jamie Buhrer although he has been injured as much as Sirro!

I prefer Tom Wright to Lamb.
Think we need a bit of aggro/ toughness like a Klemmer- even Josh Jackson to add a bit of starch up front....and either Anderson if he can step up, or a Cotric style winger.
Then again, wake up I’m dreaming- we have enough to sign more fringe graders unless we win the appeal....
100% we need some aggression up forward. When we have been a force there was always a few blokes that put the fear of God in the opposition. Christ, fancy getting gang tackled by Gillespie and Roberts back in the day. We dont have a single enforcer in our team currently and it's something that needs to be addressed. Thats why buying a Cartwright type won't cut it. Hes softer than melted butter. Another kid I like however is the Panthers Jack Hetherington. He looks the goods from what I've seen.

Yep Hetherington is a tough young forward with that raw aggression.
Credit to a good production line out at Penrith...that young half looks sharp and there's Kikau and a list of others who will have long NRL careers....maybe Manly could have a look at some of this talent while they are affordable for a team who can't afford expensive players and need to buy into some potential on the rise.

The ref's knocked the aggression out of us at the beginning of the year by penalising us every time we showed any line speed and agro ..... I believe it has had a bigger effect than some imagine ....

A couple of weeks ago Paseka went in hard, followed by a few more ..... then .... penalty ..... aggression went back into the sock ...

Great call. Manly and line speed means penalties. And thats why we're so meek hanging back defensively cause we're paranoid..
