Now we have lost 2 games....that is officially a losing streak this year

NRL stataticians disagree mate whether we like it or not. I agree with you that it should be year to year, but unfortunately streaks basically include games in the season proper no matter when they are played.
As funny as it may seem the losing streak goes back after our last win .
