Burbo to lock?

This guy makes some dumb plays my goodness. The rushed play the ball last week, that crusher tackle today. Momentum killers that resulted in tries for the opposition.

He needs a rocket. I can’t fault his effort but **** me use your brain.

Seibold won't in my opinion make any courageous selections too soon. After the DCE thing he can't afford to loose the support of the rest of the senior players.

I’d question if Seibs even has their support……

None of our players play smart. Collectively they would have less than half the footy IQ of a storm or a panthers or a Rabbitohs this year. Once again it goes back to the coach for not drilling basic disciplines into the team.

Tommy Talau should take his spot. Guys faster stronger can offload and break tackles. He's exactly what we need in the 2nd row. Burbo outright sucks and needs to go to reserves

Absolutely none! Cannot break a tackle always get stopped immediately and cannot offload. At least he's not on 1 million like Jacques

I wish Hammies were his only problem. I reckon we could turn him into Cyborg and he will still probably have a software issue before the end of the 80 mins 🙁 great player, even better person but his body is failing him.

and for reference, Haumole is just about the form 2nd rower currently, and possibly MOM last night, but Burbo's stats don't look too bad either

The big difference with burbo last night was no dropped balls and no penalties. Had a good game.

I've always been and remain of the belief that Burbo is mainly a whipping boy because of his surname.

If he was Ben Thompson he'd be a solid young second rower with a few areas to continue to improve.

I've been, on a whole, reasonably pleased with him this year and do think he is currently our best option on the left edge.

Could he be upgraded in the off season, sure, but for now he starts and continues to contribute

Played well enough last night. He's just not suited to being and edge in the modern game. He doesn't have the speed or the strength to break the line. With his size, he may end up in the front row. His hands and ball playing ability don't suit the number 13 either.

My opinion of him has nothing to do with his name. It's to do with his lack of discipline, which I'll concede was good last night.

Like a lot of people at our club .... he's just OK. Not a rock star and never will be. Without the surname he would never have been signed and he wouldn't be playing with us.

Burbos #1 attribute is he is tuff.

Id like to see him closer to Brooks hip so Brooks can dart through or create space for Burbo, trouble is Brooks likes to run at a 45 angle to the side line so burbo and Koula don't get space.
