Look I'm just a fan but I've been saying our defense has been rubbish since Dymock took over as assistant, we've looked good at times but inevitably get gassed and fade late. How many times have we seen Paseka or Sipley look absolutely gassed and not get subbed until a try is let in? Then they cop a pasting for being lazy but is it more likely our interchange management is off?

I don't know who else is available but Siebold isn't as bad as some people make out, he just needs the right people around him and Jim ain't it IMO. Our attack is not the issue although it could use some polish but we can't just rely on outscoring the opposition if we want to win a comp though.

Bulldogs will be up for it on Friday given they've sold 40k+ tickets for a 6PM Friday game at Accor. I think we'll have a better idea of where we're at given it'll have more of a finals atmosphere than Leichardt on a Thursday.
Playing at Accor isn't like playing at Belmore Oval. The big ground atmosphere works out fairly even as regards to supporter atmosphere.

That's my point though, a hostile Belmore or Leichardt crowd isn't an apples and apples comparison to the atmosphere for finals games. No chance Bulldogs take a final to Belmore ($$$) so a packed Accor Dogs home game will be a lot closer to a finals environment and might give us something better to go off.

I'm actually not really bothered about losing to the Tigs last week, they've had the wood over us at Leichardt for years however I wouldn't be saying that to the players. I think it could be the loss we had to have if we're gonna wake up and go on a run from outside the top 4 which we were unlikely to make anyway.

Sorta like Suncorp, every club looks forward to playing at Suncorp, it's not really a fortress for the Broncs, it's a shared fortress used by many teams. Accor is fairly similar in this regard. Bring it on i say.

We do have a squad capable of winning a premiership Lead by both NSW and QLD leaders
We have ....
Fast backline
Experienced halves
and Big Boppers in the forwards

The season is not over and Seibold has not finished his job as yet and has the opportunity to get our boys up for the big occasion
Our Season is still Alive
Never lose hope
as hope is Always the last to die feathered friend @Ralphie
I agree. We have the squad to make a real shake of it in this comp. That is what is so frustrating about some of our piss poor performances - Canberra, Dolphins, tigers etc. some of these games were absolutely there to be won and if we had of even won just 2 of them how different would it be now!!! I’ve been critical of Seibold but he has improved the team this year - in that we are playing finals, as opposed to last year. But I can’t help but think he just isn’t the coach to finally win us a premiership. I just can’t imagine (for instance) a Bellamy coached team losing that game at this time of the year against the tigers. Or Bennett. I don’t know what the answer is because I don’t know who out there is available to coach us. But I really fear that this side, which I think on paper is pretty bloody good, will drift apart for one reason or another and then we’ll be back into the dreaded ‘rebuild’ phase.

We will be up and ready on Friday night against the Doggies.

I'm trying to look at things this way. We were never going to win these last 3 games. So seeing how we fuked up so badly last Thursday night maybe we'll make up for it the next 2 games. Rediculous Rose coloured glass way of looking at it all but hey, clutching at straws here. I'd gladly sacrifice a win against the tigpies if it meant beating the scumdogs.

Turbo was found out in defence a few times vs the Tigers… would we be better off with Hoppa in FB & Turbo in centre?

No chance. Turbo has been outstanding in attack and is by far the best fullback in the club. I have been critical of his defence this season however of late he has been pretty strong. But agree he was off in defence last week.

Do they ever run supporter buses to away games anymore? I used to love getting the bus to places as far afield as Canberra. Would be good if there was a bus going out to Homebush

I am a member out at Accor have been for 10 years
Only 50,000+ events do they do event buses
Have to make own way out there

Warning also major concert out there on Friday night so be mindful parking will be in high demand in P1

And I fear that Penn and co are banking on this group all chips in to win them a title because once DCE and a few other senior players retire we are for as you said another rebuild phase.

They are saying we are are one trick pony and we are no chance on Friday night with nothing to play for
They think we are easy beats
I hope we come out and give it to this mob I can’t stand the dogs lovefest the Sydney media has given them.

Big talk considering the only wins over current top 8 teams the dogs have had are two wins over the dragons and a golden point win over the sharks where sharks scored 3 tries to 2 and a close win over the roosters

The problem is that a storm or 'insert nrl's favoured team here' hasn't asked for it first, so as it's Manly, not a chance.

Tom could set up his own third party system and pay them outta his pocket once paid!!!!

- something similar happened in the nhl when roberto Luongo had a 7 year contract and wanted to get out of it or take less money as he was old and useless....but the nhl wouldn't allow it.

Luongo himself said at a press conference that his contract 'sucked' as it was stopping him moving teams....and this was a contract worth a lot bloody more that 1.1million.

Also he retired a few years ago...but he still gets paid for that contract until his 7 years is up!!!!!
