Tommy Talau did not play for the 2nd week in a row.....

The difference being that he wasn't in the team today. He played reserve grade yesterday and did well.

Would love to blame Klein for it but the sad truth is that he wasn't a factor today. We threw everything at them for the first 25 minutes and had nothing left after that.

Yer mate, we were brutal for 25 minutes. They are a very fit side.

Terrible day for us. These guys are a lot better drilled than what we are….It was not that long ago we beat these guys 66 to zip. Unfortunately we need to start planning for next year..

There is also not one single player still in the team from that game,so its probably not the best comparison

Which begs the question why throw everything at them like that. It makes no sense in today’s game. I suggest it masks a lack of mental toughness and willingness to get in the grind. We aren’t playing 1980s rugby league where the pack that won the battle early went on to win. It’s now wrestle, hold, stop the offload and slow play the balls. But I’m sure Jim Dymock is well aware of that.

I was a fan of maintaining the backline as is but Hoppa shat the bed in a big way today and Turbo was woeful at centre.

We tried for a whole 55 minutes then completely checked out once it got beyond the 8 point gap. When Tracey’s try got disallowed and it stayed 12-4 I said to my family this game is over. You could just tell, even though technically we were still in it, you know when this team is gone. But 30-0 in the next 20 minutes is embarrassing. Their attack is simply not that good to ever have that happen if you think you’re a serious team.

Hoppa had a rough one in attack unfortunately, not sure what we do next week on that regard.

Anyway, hope it fires them up and they are keen to respond at home next week, really need to.

Why? I didn’t agree with the switch of TomT to centre,but you don’t go changing it up just because Hopoate had one bad game.Fair chance you lose the dressing room doing that.Although in this case,Seibold has already lost it,despite many denials from certain Silvertails

Another thing to note, our points differential just fell from +60 to +22. Now well out of reach from Brisbane who we were creeping up behind. Now worse than Cronulla by 1. Chooks only 18 behind us. We were never reaching the Phins.

All of a sudden we have to worry big time about our PD as well

I think we had a decent first half and probably the first 10mins of the second half. But we gassed ourselves with not enough reward. Got to hand it to dogs. They played almost a perfect game.

Turbo is a defensive arm grabber as a centre. And was going to get found out
He's got to go back to fullback. But we can't have Reuben at centre either.Tommy Talau has to find last years form.
Throw a million at Herbie and we can win a comp.

-every ball bounce and 50/50 went dogs way
-Klien made sure we didint get within striking with that Reubs forward pass call when it was critical
-sub par kicking game from DCE
-we did nothing to stop their offloads ,it drove me nuts watching them one after the other
-Lehi ordinary today apart from that try save,and never seemed to get his outside man the ball ,like we were too sideways
-TT ordinary
-way too many missed tackles over all
-Saab too many crucial errors
-I felt the wind went out of our sails when Oka went off
-GKT ok ,but we missed Simpkin at 14 I felt
-DOgs were on and they are fit and well drilled ,but we gave them way too much leeway esp with offloads which had us scrambling all day
-disappointing ,but we lost to the better team on the day today unfortunately
Anyways onto the FLGs next week !!
