Surely Eddie Ward’s performance will go down in infamy as the very worst. We know, from 2013, how incorrect and possession changing decisions kill momentum. In 2013 there was one forward pass howler - and myriad wrong calls. In 1995 there were 2 forward pass tries to Dogs and a 7 tackle try (and yes he disallowed a fair try to the Dogs).

I wouldn "t , need some largely direct running at 6 with the present backline set up and D C E not noted for that .
Plus the combo [ or reasonable ] with Haumole and also Daly "s reads in defence a bit wider not one of his strong points usually .
Know that Seibs selected Talau as a 6 against the Bunnies once last season, competitive but not the ideal fit and this week is definitely a close too - must win outcome for Manly .
Highly doubt a good idea with Turbo , Lehi not ready , and Burton can be a fairly formidable attacker and while hoping for highly successful Manly career for Walsh , doubt the best time to blood him there .
Anyway , looks like Brooks should be still good to go , well , can only hope as no real ideal replacement right now

Agree, but it’s very different executing under pressure with the game on the line. He stood up and delivered when it counted, so I give him credit for that. Before that though, thought he had an average game at best. Jury still out.

Funny, Manly seems to be trying to play more a Dog-style game now, methodical relentless low-risk pressure, and Dogs have decided they need a little more ad-lib in their footy, hence Galvin.
The world has gone crazy!

Yeah both teams once were at the extreme end of polar opposites. As always the best place is right in the hey diddle diddle.

I see this as a huge game for both teams.

Which ever gets over the line will get little boost of confidence.
