I really think this left edge could work for us next year. It has the potential to be very stingy in defence and solid enough in attack.

Parker has a knack for poking his head through, runs a nice line and sets up his winger well. He isn’t a winger but has shown he is a capable shut down centre defender. The bonus is he is a great kick chaser. He needs to work on his hands.

GoJetski also runs a good hole. He plays hard and can chase kicks well. He needs to really become an astute defender but has the ability to do it.

A strike winger would really complete this edge. Maybe Funa moves over there next season or Hoppa or someone new.

if Cust can become an elite defensive five eight that can straighten the attack and put these guys through a hole that’s enough.
