Bulldogs fire sale

On the form he showed over the past 3 weeks I'd take Lichaa for sure, but he'd end up on the bench here, so I doubt he'd be interested. Api is just too much the "heart" of our side at this point.

Lichaa will end up at the Knights or Tigers I'd say.

I am not sure if it has been previously mentioned . but during the fox match commentary in the Dogs - Dragons match , it was suggested that there was every indication that James Graham would be most likely going to the Dragons for nest year . If this is the case there would then seem to be much less prospect that the Dogs would have to release any other high rated or profile players that they would prefer to retain . Still maybe a case of wait and see and of course with the fluid nature of N R L contracts these days . nothing can be ruled out or dismissed with immediate or future player movements .

When you have a hooker that play big minutes effectively like Koroisau, it's better to have a bench player that can cover more than just 9. Therefore, Michael Lichaa is surplus to requirements.

Mbye is the most boring footballer I have ever seen play the game. Regardless of the Bulldogs game plan, he doesn't have a kicking game of any kind and that's why he was moved to 9 in the end.

Lichaa had big wraps on him when he was at Cronulla then it fizzled into nothing. Ennis went the opposite way and was very good at Cronulla. Seems like Des doesn't want his 9's to play what's in front of them and just tackle and get the ball out.

Lichaa would be cheap and agree an interchange with Api would be fantastic
It would be pointless to buy someone like Lichaa to fill in for Api for about 20-30 minutes a game. We have Joey Lussick and Manase Fainu in reserves and Holden Cup. These guys would almost definitely leave if we brought Lichaa to the club.

depends on what the coach wants for next yr, but Api could do with a spell as he isn't the biggest body but does a hell of a lot of work in the middle. I think that whoever replaces Des will keep Lichaa on as they don't have a 9 at all.

As for our players in the lower teams, Joey isn't really pushing for a fg spot and Fainu is still young and very inexperienced.

Anyway just an opinion so either way i'm not fussed 🙂

I really hope they keep Des on. No other coach will give Foz the loyalty free pass like Des, regardless of how bad he is ( and will) play in 2018.
May the Destruction continue.

He'd be a good winger but that is the only position where he would offer value. I remember him as a good finisher and supporting winger.

Way too pedestrian to be a fullback or centre.

No thanks.

He is a joke. Has played alright for the last month I must admit but only because they want to move him on.

If we could get him for about $150K might be OK, thats what he is on at the Dogs for 2017. He just extended until 2020.
Watch him relax again with a new contract under his belt. His time out of the game ruined him.
