I just think there are not a heap of unproven kids who are ready to be snapped up for min wage. There might be but they require more work and a player like Woods at least you know what you are getting opposed to a gamble on a kid

Senior players should be pensioned off at NRL fox studios or clubs coaching staff
NRL is a game for Vibrant Youth
We dont want aging slow seniors on the field to slow their momentum down

When he came here I thought "here we go another has-been".

He could of been another Aaron Woods, with his best days behind him bu capable of filling a gap when needed.

But he wanted it, and wanted it bad. Trained hard and has become a vital member and leader in our team.

I never really cared too much for his style of play, ripping and tearing, a poor mans Mark Carroll in my opinion. He was a damaging ball runner back when he played Origin around 2020 but always seemed to miss lots of games through injury.

Anyway he is proof that the harder you train the luckier you get.
