Brookvale tips for Parra game.

Hey all.

Over from UK and have picked up some tickets for tomorrow's game.

Any tips for getting around Brookie? Parking etc....

Have 2 tickets in the Jane try stand. Will be bringing the misses and 2 toddlers (2yo and 3yo) I'm guessing that they will be ok to sit on our laps.

Planning to park at the mall and walk up. Good idea or pure madness?

Any other handy bits of info greatly appreciated...

Park up on warringah road or get there real early and go park at the leagues club. Pre-Drinks t the brookie hotel

Its going to be hot, so hot I am pulling out of the game with my 3 year old!
If you are drinking beer go to the beer shed just before half time, as they close just after half time....also half time is just long enough for you to leave, walk quickly to the brookvale hotel drive through, pick up a few cans of bourbon and coke, stash them in your pockets and get back to and into the ground

Normally, the Mall's a good a place as any. However, as its going to be so hot, you may want to get there early and park at the Leagues Club. Not as far to walk and with 2 young kids...
Also suggest not taking any take-away food in or it will be confiscated.

If you are worried about parking get there about 2:30-3.

If you are not and you park a bit further away get there at 3:45.

You have seats already so really your only drama is parking.

Personally I just use uber and get there when I feel like it.

With the young fellas you probably want to get there closer to kick off (bring a cardboard box and don’t deny them the joy of a cardboard box ride down the back of the hill)

1.30-2pm. Park in the first 100m of Chard rd left side, which is the street opposite Brookie pub.
Go upstairs to Golden Singapura, say hi to owners Stevie and Theresa Wong and have a GREAT a la carte Chinese lunch or superb Yum Cha and a couple of beers, .

About 3-3.30pm take the 5 min stroll north to Brookie oval, watch us kick some Doesn'tmatta ass and then stroll back to the car which is parked in a hassle-free exit area.

Opal Card holders get an all day $2.60 Sunday fare.

So forget the car and enjoy the Manly ferry, let the kids enjoy a swim at the netted beach next to the wharf.

Then walk up to Gilbert Park (next set of traffic lights north of wharf) Stand G just across from Manly Court House and every bus (not 159) will drop you off at Brookie.

After the game, the buses are queued up directly outside of the Southern Stand.
Pick the Manly or if you want to go straight to Wynyard, pick the City bus and enjoy a deserved Manly win

Full day fun for $5.20 for you and wifey and kiddies
