Brookie upgrade

I think Council have somewhat belatedly come to the same conclusion, noting that they are heavily involved in the latest master plan - one that is much more ambitious than any that Council has previously backed.

Plus they have a broader long term plan for the suburb and an upgraded stadium would fit in nicely.
I am not across the result of last weekend’s election hopefully a new mob of councilors don’t form a different view

I still dont know what last weekend's election was actually for?

Only the Liberal, Independents & Greens parties were on the ballot?

It wasn’t always the case on the Northern Beaches.

They were generally all independents who would look for common ground.
Their common ground was that they were all real estate agents with underworld connections. Warringah council got sacked 3 times on 30 years.

Sure, there have been people like that in Council.

However I am talking about people like Paul Couvret and Julie Sutton.

Altruistic types

Had a tour of the new COE today and what a great facility it is - can’t wait till it’s finished. The players are going to be in first class facility.

The seating for spectators is very comfortable and the view is fantastic plus the bars, food trucks etc that will be there on game day will make it the place to sit at. If you haven’t got season tix/membership etc check it out.

Nice summation mate! Honestly the difference this is going to make to the experience cannot be understated.

It makes the rest of the ground look that much better as well. The seating is deceptively high which makes for a really good view.

For staff, players, members and fans this is a huge result which is going to be an attraction for new members, corporates and in reality players, given how much of a step up this is for the club.

Just build a new 22,000 seat mini wankfest at Warringah park with parking and be done with it.
Plenty of space and public transport and make a true Northern Beaches hub of Rugby league and Rugby.
New Stadium Perspective time .

Relocating into a new stadium has its merits .

But the memorabilia of the memorable blast from the past ghostly aura that our spiritual home ground generates and The culture connection of our legendary clubs historic events and the spirit of our spiritual home ground can never be replicated

We now have the best of both worlds in modernising our sacred home ground

We can change the name of Brookvale Oval but its grounded spirit will always stay the same

4 Pines Park is now our pride and joy to enjoy and what better way to celebrate than with a club membership. to belong to the Greatest club of all the Manly Sea eagles

Looks great, thanks for sharing!
I saw a lady post some pictures in a FB group, presumably she was on your tour also, and someone asked her about a total upgrade and she said that was the plan?
Was there any sort of indication that this might be a possibility in the near future, or any other info you can share in regards to what was said?

Can you clarify if the teams on match day will be using the dressing rooms in the COE and run out from there? If so, I presume the teams on the undercard will be using the existing dressing rooms under the western stand.
Wouldn't it be good if the Manly team made its entrance onto Brookie from the COE and then the announcer chips in: "oh, and we also have the opposition entering the arena, stage right!"
