I’m so nervous

They will be up for this and will be tough at homebush

At brookie we will win
Think Manly burst their bubble last week, unless they can find some proper front rowers, the blueprint has been produced and the Cows followed it again tonight.

Buuuuut....I get what you mean. At least there's a game inbetween playing them, if it was a win over Canterbury then playing them the following week in the semis it would be a certain defeat no matter the venue.

That's just the way the RL Gods work for some reason. It's set in stone.

It’s all about our discipline. If we don’t let them dominate possession early in the game, we should be able to beat them comfortably. We need to bash them hard up the middle again, but with DISCIPLINE.

I have no doubt we can beat them again. My only concern is whether the bunker and referee decide otherwise and screw us over.
Yeah, they look very weak. I'm actually blown away that they are ahead of us on the ladder. Just shows how soft some of our losses have been

Eels,Raiders, Dolphins, Tigers, Broncos. Think if two or three of those had been nabbed, and no bull****e Johnson penalty against the Warriors.

Hopefully the team realises this and gets a bit tougher between the ears.

The main concern I have is the quick turnaround in games against them (reminiscent of vs Penrith round 26/finals week 1 in 2017) but Canterbury are not a good team and the hype around them this year has been beyond ridiculous. Their soft draw has caught up with them in the last 2 weeks and if we can’t knock them off again, this season would fall short of a pass mark IMO

We can beat them for sure! but if we get comfortable and complacent like we have in the past ( thinking of recent tigers game) if a few things don’t go our way we will surely lose…

frank stokes

I discriminate indiscriminately
Last week will have no impact on next week... puppies get Crighton, Burton and Fox back together next week... be interesting to see if Kikau misses a game tho...

We can definitely beat them but I reckon it will be a much harder contest this time around... especially if we are not disciplined...

Yeah but Lodge will be better for two hit outs as well. He didn't play very long to get his 120 metres and none of those players coming back are front rowers. Cowboys tore through the middle just like the Manly middles did last night which meant Preston and Kikau were moving laterally in and out all night to help defend (even just to hold spacing of the line if not needed to effect a tackle) and got gassed badly. That's why Kikau was non existent last week and Luki looked like a superstar (which he is very close to, couple of season ending injuries have punctuated his career) last night, and gaps showed up in both their last games inside, through, and outside those back row defensive corridors.

Ciraldo is a smart coach but I can't see him derailing all the defensive structure he's spent two years developing and been rewarded with an unheralded finals appearance with, by getting the team to adopt, with tweaking too much.

But it's Rugby League. I'll be sweating on the referee's announcement Tuesday more than the team list.

Dogs have me nervous, would have preffered the cows at Brookie.
Will be a great deal tougher but we have to play what's in front of us, get the home venue first

I don’t think there is much to be nervous about, Manly will likely do the Dogs again wherever it is. Depends which Manly team turns up after consecutive wins
