Legend. Great news, even though we really all knew this was just about a done deal, official confirmation is sweet.

Apparently we had simply forgotten all about signing Snake.

If it wasnt for Delzs' nagging !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All we had to do was read the Daily Telegraph to know that Brett was going to stay. This is how they reported it today in a small item by Christian Nicolussi in Sport Confidential.

Brett Stewart re-signed with Manly yesterday, news broken in these pages two weeks ago.
On August 15, Stewart told our colleague Dean Ritchie that he'd be staying an Eagle for good - and yesterday he officially put pen to paper on the four year deal.



There was no mention of the same newspapers previous reports that Brett Stewart was going to the Bulldogs, the Dragons, The Roosters, the ESL or RU.
