[Resurrected] Brandon Smith

Think you could be right, the chooks are trying to shift Smith and Young immediately, Crawley is saying the chooks want Daly as early as next week, could this this be true?
They don’t want him for this year. They want to announce him as early as next week. The Roosters are clearing the decks to upgrade other players and to seal the DCE deal, which was done long ago. Also a chance of a Joey Manu return

Cheers, pretty much just got home from work and had a quick read around, before seeing I was a little late to the party, after reading Daly’s thread, he looks like a wanker in that strip anyway……

From memory I can't recall any Manly players who went to the Roosters and succeeded, apart from Johhny Mayes who actually went back to them, let's hope DCE follows in the same tradition as all the others.
Bob Fulton - fail
John Harvey - fail
Mike Eden - fail
Stuart Davis - fail
Gartner - fail
Vautin - fail
Doorey - fail
Elsegood - so so
O'Donnel - fail
Shearer - fail
Mal Kaufusi - fail
Oldfield - fail

Luke Phillips? Ivan Cleary (by way of the Bears)?

Agree with all of that except I’d push Bazza Elsegood up to a pass. My admittedly hazy memory tells me he went well at the chooks. Checked his stats and they tend to agree, at least in terms of try scoring where he had a much better strike rate at the chooks:

Manly - 25 tries from 72 games over 4 years (93 - 96)

Easts - 35 tries from 77 games over 4 years (97 - 90).

But then again, I'm not certain I would put much faith in anything the cheese says or thinks ... he doesn't appear to be the brightest guy in the room ....
Yeah but he would be in pretty close connection with those who do know and I'm sure some details would have leaked behind closed doors by now.

I really feel for him

When you watch this it helps to show why players do not feel loyalty towards clubs
We are all Loyalty aligned to the people that are Loyal to us
Loyal to the People that want us and support our needs

Brendon Smith is now aligned to the Wabbits
DCE is now aligned to the Rooters ... I forgot the (s)
