Brad Parker .... the future?

People said Lyon didn't look like a footballer either. Too fat etc etc. Not saying he will be like Lyon but im not going to write him off either. He looks a decent prospect from what ive seen. We seem to have a few of those in the ranks with Meehan, AFB, Hoppa, Bainbridge and Parker. Might be why we are not signing heaps of people. The coaching staff might be happy with these guys.

Its not a bad group of forwards. I would be more concerned with ensuring we have a top centre to link with Walker. May already have one in those coming through, but having someone like Whare would be a plus.

If looks or physical characteristics determine football prowess, I contend the single most important feature would be a pair of large robust buttocks.

There has never been a top flight RL player that was a no-bum.

Can anybody with an intimate knowledge of Parker confirm his buttock status.

Agree. Parkers natural physical growth over the next 12 months may seal the deal. There is no reason that he can't play both like (the great) Steve Menzies. If he can maintain his pace he may be very good in either.

I say give him 80 mins next week, kelly needs a rest or some reserve games, his attack and defence was fine he was dropping the ball too much, do a latrell mitchell on him, he needs a lift. Parker can play a couple of games maybe some minutes in the backrow. I love kelly but he just looked flat all night.

I think we are forgetting how young and inexperienced Kelly is in FG. What's that now 16 games of FG. sure he has some mistakes in him and he still has a lot to learn but IMHO he's a gun and could be one if the best in the comp in a few years. just need to show some faith.
Look at Walker and the crp he got on here last year. waste of money. idiot. worst buy of the year etc. it's amazing what difference a year makes...
