Mayer is gone within the month.  Penns have demanded the football club provide funds to the level of their equity in the club, which is clearly not going to happen.  Post meeting both Penn and delmege gave a fiery interview to waiting media and it's clear they're at loggerheads.

It's about to get messier.

Interestingly the vote this time around was 4-3.

Great, cant wait for the headlines tomorrow - looks like the football club board sided with Delmege.

I wonder what happened to the other issues ie player retention, Des etc.

Under the Stewardship of the current board the football club is basically broke with no material means of raising funding apart from the drips of bread & water they get from membership fees eaxch year.

Looks like there could be a serious challenge to the FC Board at the next election now.

When is this all going to end ?? they should be working together for the good of the club but instead it seems they are hell bent on fighting each other and they are losing sight of what really needs to be done helping the club to keep going forward by keep building after a great GF win 40-Nil & then win then going over to the UK and winning WCC .

This to me is a all time for low for the club and us the supporters i hate it in everyway.

Keep Mayer at the club for crying out loud he has been doing a great job look at how he has been attracting sponsorship to the club.
