Blacktown Workers

The reaally scary thing is that Panthers had 5 players from NSW Cup playing in 1st Grade and in Flegg they had 5 players playing up a grade.

Penrith has so much talent out there, and while fabulous players may leave, a new generation arrives of almost equal ability to take their place.

Gus's five year plan may not have worked in 5 years, however, it's certainly working now and I look at the Bulldogs and their juniors are on fire, so maybe the tables will turn.

As for Workers, plenty of promise if we have the full team on board and they could make a run to the finals.
They certainly have a great production line out there and it's scary how well they know their roles when they step up.....just an air of confidence about them unmatched in the NRL....just look at the cool heads in the GF and then last weekend with so many outs, found a way to fight back against what I would rate a stubborn Redcliffe side, who are hard to run down.

I love The Dolphins lock (who jumps into Hooker as well) Max Plath. Kinds fits that role, too.
Yeah,he has been locked up by them recently, really good player, but not sure he would handle the edge spot.
Good lock,half,9 though...
Hohepa Puru at Raiders is another like that, smaller and a real worker.

I understand about the junior talent in the Penrith area, but they are also attracting good players from country NSW. I'd be surprised if we get any from the country unless they have been recruited first by another NRL club.

We have to find another route to the Northern Beaches that doesn't go through the mountains and then stops at Penrith.

Normal service has resumed. After a brief flurry of wins into the 8 they're now tumbling down the ladder back to their rightful position of bottom dwellers. When will someone wake up and rid this club of this sick joke of an experiment.

When has Manly ever done consistently well in reserve grade? Never is the answer.

There is one Blacktown player in the side mate.....
