That was a fair ressies team on paper too. I think we should be looking at some of those young raiders.Conceded 50...
I guess the Workers ain't winning the comp this year now.

They have some good young players in their team, Noah Martin would be a good pickup, plays an edge and has some skill. That was a fair ressies team on paper too. I think we should be looking at some of those young raiders.
Not sure what the difference will be re results,if they revert back to a MWSE reggies team.Manly have never really cared/succeeded in reserve grade. Its time to end this Blacktown farce!
Did you see the game, if so, how did Lodge go ?At least Lodge had a hit out and scored a try.
That's a fair hit out. Very good stats in a well beaten side.Lodge stats
56 mins
1 try
15 runs
158 meters
60 post contact
1 line break
23 tackles
3 miss
1 offload
2 errors
Was place on report (not sure what for)

I saw Lodge when I was walking out of the ground yesterday and they had just finished warming up outside and were heading in for kickoff. I thought he looked fit and lighter, more V shaped. I actually had to check the League Live app to make sure it was him.Does he look the same shape?
He was starting to look a little prehistoric the way props are evolving these days, but the bicep injury at least gave him a few more months of running, post-ACL injury.
So surely our trainers have been able to get him in decent nick, just in case he's needed in first grade.
Three misses don't inspire me with confidence. Him and Sipley's slowness and arm-grabbing cost us the Dolphins game earlier in the year.23 tackles
3 miss
Synergy. Not sure what the difference will be re results,if they revert back to a MWSE reggies team.Manly have never really cared/succeeded in reserve grade.
I only spoke about the results, which is what most people get upset about.Of course it would be better if they were all under the same umbrella but it still won’t make a difference to how they perform on fieldSynergy.
At least the reserve grade would train, play and feel connected to the Manly Warringah area. Plus they would be closer to world class beaches to soothe their aches.
It would give we fans a chance to watch them play at Brookie more.
Frankly, the results couldn't be much worse so I can only see an upside with "keeping it local".
I don’t thinking there is room for both Sipley and lodge at manly. We have enough of those body types. I would chose lodge and release Sipley. Sipley has the potential to be very good but has never looked fit to me and really struggles moving laterally. Just my thoughtsI saw Lodge when I was walking out of the ground yesterday and they had just finished warming up outside and were heading in for kickoff. I thought he looked fit and lighter, more V shaped. I actually had to check the League Live app to make sure it was him.
