Humphreys was always very composed coming through the juniors, with a solid kicking game as well.

I get the rationale for trying him as a hooker - apart from the fact we're in desperate need of a good one, a lot of coaches switch young halves into the pack these days to "toughen them up". But it doesn't mean we can't switch him back into the halves at some point - which is exactly what has happened at Blacktown as a result of Wakeham's unexpected departure. (Disappeared in a puff of a white, powdery substance, allegedly.)
