Kaolin only played 1st half, listed as 18 for 1sts, Gordon played well as did Roache when he came on in the 2nd half, scored a fine try and played well in general, Myers played well at fullback after Kao went off, Veaga played well, pulled off another big hit and scored a good try, Condon played well with the opportunities given and also scored an excellent try to even the scores up

Good updates eagleron and great to hear that you have made the trek and are travelling ok.
We arrived with 10 to go in Reggie’s and it should be pointed out that they kept Newtown scoreless in the second half including 5 mins straight on our try line inside the last 10 minutes. When they got the ball up the other end it was GCKT at first receiver on the last tackle that came up with the big play finding Conden with a short inside ball from 10 out. He galloped over with good intent right in front of the Golden Eagles who were assembling in the tunnel of the Bob Fulton stand.
As stated by others above, it’s these subtle attacking skills/instincts that we need in firsts to unlock our attack. He’s unlikely to rip it up straight away but the kid has desire and smarts.
It’s a shame the penalty goal hit the post but it felt a bit like a win anyway.

Who ever is coaching Blacktown needs to give Seibold some pointers on how to get your team to compete. I've been impressed by the character of this Blacktown team.
