Thank you @Mark from Brisbane. I wasn’t sure if I should say anything, but I did put it on FB, and am overwhelmed at messages from family, friends and my Manly Family. I have just been diagnosed with lung cancer and seeing my specialist on Wednesday for our plan of attack. I am being as positive as I can and fingers crossed I will be ok.
Oh my goodness I’m so sorry to hear of your I’ll health Margaret. Max and I wish you all the best and a quick recovery. Big hugs and best wishes xx

It's all been said by the Silvertails family Marga. I can't say anything more but get well and we're all fighting with you. Just imagine us lot on the hill screaming at your illness like a bad ref decision.

You are a legend Marga! Sending you lots of Love and Positive Energy. Great to see that when it comes to the important things in life we are all able to agree.

All the best @marga.

I’ve enjoyed reading your posts over the years. You always come across as a lovely and respectful lady and possibly our best supporter.

Coming down constantly from North Queensland to cheer the boys on at Brookie is a hell of an effort!

Sending positive thoughts and hoping you kick this terrible disease into oblivion.

Many of our long term posters and most of us will remember and know marga, in recent years things made her move away from posting and she stepped back from her trips a little.
She was the sea eagle true number one fan for many many years and is the manly mum we all love.

I know she will be annoyed at me posting this and I'll suffer those consequences but she is going through a tough time with the old enemy of cancer

One of the things that makes this site and the greater community amazing is how we all pull together in times like this. Now I don't know what we can offer her but I'd like us all to offer our collective well wishes for Margaret and send her our manly sea Eagles love.

Spare a though for her, she will beat this as she is a tough cookie and I know we will see her smiling at a game again soon

We did touch on this a while back, but at this time of year it's a timely reminder to spare a thought for others.

Manly are on the road to recovery and set to battle it out in 2019, as I am sure Marga will be too.

Merry Xmas and a Sea Eagle New Year to you, sending some good vibes your way. Stay strong

I’m the person to blame for introducing her to the world of Manly, and now Manly is her world.

Very possibly the best known and most loved member of the Sea Eagles family.

Such a beautiful person and dedicated fan, and to get to a stage in one’s life where you can afford to do things without the need to worry and then get struck down with this terrible disease is tragic.

We think about you every day Margaret ( @marga ) and let’s all believe in the power of positivity!!

Kick this bastard in the arse and get back to doing what you love most!!
