Would rather see them in the comp than the gummy sharks.  At least they would have support form the locals and be able to pack out their home ground every time unlike the sharks who get 10k on a big night.

By the way things are sounding with the gummies, they may not have to wait for long to be included or even hope that the NRL expands to 18 teams.

I'm trying to think of players that currently play in the NRL or NYC that have come from the central coast so far I've got Matt Orford, Mark O'Meley, Shaune Corrigan, Tim Moltzen from the NRL can anybody else think of anybody else?

There are a few players in our NYC team that come from the coast.  The centre who scored 4 tries on the weekend somes from the CC.

I used to like watching Manly beat the Bears at North Sydney Oval when I was a wee youngen. You could watch the footy sitting in a tree. Was fun.

Graham Eadie started his career from Woy Woy. That's enough for me.

[/quote]You're right Dan, I only know the literal meaning of being "up a tree", so I have to admit that I don't really know what you mean.

Your barking up the wrong tree there. Thats if you can twig to that idea.

Leaf her alone Dan, and bough out of the situation. Branch out into something new instead.

I can kind of see what they're doing with the logo but i don't like it.  It's very 'flat', cartoony and if it's a small pic of the logo the bear looks like it's yawning.  It just all looks very comical.

I'm not going to get involved with the 'should they be in or not' debate, but here's a question:

If they get in, who will be their feeder (CC team i guess) and also for Souths since it's the bears right now

The original Bears logo was always a good one, as much as I hated them, Red & black are good colours, and cant be mistaken for any other teams and the bears logo looked good. We have the same original Bears logo for the soccer teams I coached too.
