Be realistic

I’m seeing a lot of posts saying ‘get rid of x, y, z etc’. All good, love the passion! Just offer a solution in said post. It’s not a free for all, these players need to be replaced, so when suggesting a player should be moved on, suggest a realistic replacement. And if ‘literally anyone else’ is your answer, fine. I’ll haul my fat arse out there on minimum contract. I’ll be ****house but you said ‘literally anyone else!’

There’s a few players off contract I’d move on (which I’ve stated on other threads). There’s others I’d like to move on but are still contracted, so we probably need to keep them because if we do move them on we need to pay some, if not all, of there contract, which all counts towards the cap.

The Zero Tackle website is a great resource for seeing who is off contract in the NRL. They’re the players you’re looking at primarily. It’s not a great resource for Super League players but you can still find out who’s off contract there on other sites.

For me, main priority is hooker. I’d be looking at bringing Matt Parcell back from the UK. Good player who’s still only 27 and off contract. A good fill in until Fainu is back at least.

Why offer realistic replacements? It's not like any of us have a realistic input in making it happen anyway.

I can’t say I agree with any of those three suggestions SJ.

We need sone height on the flank. Have a dig at Saab for the right $$. I agree 9 is a problem, I just don’t have a solution right now not that we could afford. I’m starting to warm to the idea of giving Cust a shot if the Foran rumours are getting noisier. Tge other position is back row replacement for Thommo. We need to look around to see what’s out there. Guaca might be that guy but we need to see more of him first. Surely Des plays these guys now.

Dwz IS BETTER than ANY winger we have at the moment though. And when it comes to hooker who is really out there we can afford? Liddle could prove a good budget pick up. Woukd probably be alot further along in his career of it wasn't for injuries
