That cold here a big branch just snapped off and fell on the next door neighbour's car!

Ahhhh!~ as I walked into the room with my computer in it to type this....a branch snapped off another tree outside my window!

Sounds like the Big Freeze of 1963. I remember seeing pigeons that had frozen solid on the ground over night. This was in Ireland. A family from Darwin inherited a local farm and moved to town that year. Temperatures hit -9. Pretty sure they wished they'd never moved.

I lean that way as well but you won't be getting much sun which is also an issue.

Was on Lord Howe island and 25-26 in the day 19-20 at night. Perfect

Wow, having suffered the Sydney heat wave all summer out west, have come to our great annual week on Rottnest Island ... and its pissing down absolute bucket loads and will be raining all week!!
Still prefer this to the heat though.
