Should Hastings be given a go as a starting half in the NRL side?

some of the "senior" players don't like home truths..??

maybe he's telling them things that we would be saying..

Players now days want bigs dollars but loose sight of professionalism. It ain’t easy and everybody is not east to get along with. Man up!

“Last couple of weeks” coincides with the ****tiest games the team has played all season. Who can blame Hastings? We have been bagging the sh1t out of the team for the last couple of weeks too.

If the issue with DCE was the final straw, wouldn't you rather the team united behind our club captain than taking sides or not caring at all. Who knows the full story. But as said above this has happened with Jackson before, so it's a case of its not us, it's him.

I will take any kind of united front I can get at the moment.

Its happened to DCE before too.

I dont even like him.

It’s absolute dumb ****! We deserve the wooden spoon I am ashamed at the lack of resolve from the playing group. Sooks off the field and soft on the field. They are acting and playing like woodenspooners for mine!

Something more to this, for a whole team to single out one player is unheard of, demanding he be moved on? We already have no depth and have moved on lussick and now Hastings! He was showing spark off the bench, API needs a spell and Hastings can cover a lot of injuries? Crazy. Hope DCE doesn't get injured this year

So Hastings is not a team player, an ars**** and we don't want him, let's move on, he is gone..... But we need a replacement for Croker injury, Tom Wright? We are drawing straws now....

Can’t blame Croker for the other peanuts not putting in any effort.
He’s no superstar admittedly but to blame him for the losses is a joke.
Sadly for Croker he had been selected in a critical position where he is under the spotlight when he doesn’t make the mark. Not his fault he was put in that position it is TBs fault. TB is also responsible for pushing Hastings over the edge by not giving him a fair go!

Hardly an ideal situation, but he was also off with portions of the playing group at the Roosters, so there is form there.

Given he has been offered councilling etc, obviously it hasn’t been something that has just recently become an issue.

The real problem for Hastings is his standing at the club. When you are an experienced and well liked member of squad with a strong rapport amongst you teammates, you can get away with having a scuffle when things get heated at training. Poor Jackson is on a hiding to nothing regardless of who is to blame or who has started/caused this issue because he is not established amongst the squad and the club in general.

Its otherwise known as politics and pecking order in the real world.

But in the surreal world of the NRL, the brainless (or not so brainless) Neanderthals are paid large sums of money to win games of football. To worry about trivial matters such as like or dislike when they pick up their 6 figure or 7 figure paychecks and get booed of the field losing by 30 points is hilarious.

I don't care whether Hastings plays again or not. But the alternative, on show last weekend, tells us all that this year is over. I can't believe the senior players or club officials care more about being "liked" and "respected" than they do about winning games of football.

Meltdown time, 9 million dollars worth of cattle breaks down to a rabble because 1 person is a princess. You wouldn't ever think it possible.

Maybe this guy needs time away to grow up. We are his third club. That's telling. The behaviours must be serious and repeated if he isn't being played regardless of talent.
Hopefully we can get some kind of swap though. We're fast running out of players.
