So it looks like Johnson & Hilfenhaus are out for Bollinger & Harris imo is not gonna make much of a difference in Adelaide
Clarke needs a score this test 44 runs in  his last 5 test innings isn't  good enough

Clarke is due but North is under more pressure. Both have scored about the same off the last 10 innings

Interestingly Hauritz took 5/39 including bats 2 - 5 to clean up WA in Perth yesterday and has a test average under 30 @ home.

Its Official Mitchell Johnson Dropped & a decision on 12th man between Hilfy & Harris to be made in the morning

Bollinger for Johnson seems the mail. Definitely need to keep that left arm variation to the attack. Hope Hilfy gets the nod over Harris.

Looks like Greg Chappell is signalling his intentions to be a no nonsense selector, and good on him too. Johnson's form has been poor and he doesn't seem to exhibit a lot of mental toughness, something you need in spades for test cricket.

North must be feeling nervous.

TOSS: Australia won the toss and elected to bat

How much pressure will be on Clarke now to make a score

AUSTRALIA lost three wickets for two runs after winning the toss and batting in the second Ashes Test in Adelaide today.

Simon Katich was out without facing a ball when he was run out on the second ball of the day.

Shane Watson survived an LBW appeal and set off for a run, but Jonathan Trott swooped on the ball at midwicket and hit the stumps before Katich could make it home.

The very next ball Australian captain Ricky Ponting edged a James Anderson delivery through to Graeme Swann at second slip and was out for a duck.

And when vice-captain Michael Clarke followed in identical fashion, Australia's innings was in tatters.

THATS WHAT I LIKE TO SEE.. ;D  although  i wish  it wasnt the poms doing it..

idiot.

Jump on the next plane to Jamaica you are so in love with the West Indies.

make it 1 way

well this is an interesting start.

Having north and hussey there might pay off in that they both have an abitilty to knuckle down.

what? Like North knuckled down in Brisbane?

North gets runs when there is no pressure, he gets bugger all when he goes in a 4 for less than 100.

more meaning he can jsut occupy the crease, goes better than if he is needed to push runs fast.

anyway Watto is playing well
