You have to respect her decision, but jeez, I was looking forward to getting another cpl years of Ash.
A quote from the late S.K. Warne when he was on the fence about retiring. He rang up Ian Chappell to come down to the bar for a chat. He told Chappelli his intentions, and asked him what should I do? Chappell told him he’s the only one that can make that decision, though it’s better fans think "Why’d he retire?" instead of "When’s he going to. retire".
And from my perspective the first question is the answer.
Ash has always done things to the beat of her own drum, which imo, makes her so loveable and unique.

Good on Ash. Great decision to retire when you are at the top. There are some elite athletes including NRL players that play one on for too long. She will be remembered for being the best in the world it doesn't get any better than that!
