Top Eagles reward for excellence

TWO Sea Eagles icons have had their outstanding contributions to rugby league in NSW set in concrete.
The Bob Fulton Dressing Room and the Ken Arthurson Boardroom are part of the NSW Rugby League Centre of Excellence at Homebush.
“It is a tremendous honour to be recognised by a body like the NSW Rugby League and it is something over which you have absolutely no control over,” Fulton said.
“It’s something special and it is there now forever.”
Fulton was equally delighted for Sea Eagles “godfather” Arthurson, with whom he has had a close relationship since joining Manly as a teenager in 1966.
“Ken is 88 years of age and sometimes the people who run the game forget the people like Ken who actually dug the well,” Fulton said.
“I was just glad to see Arko get some recognition for his contribution in the game.”
