I don't know what Thompson was on Woodsie but it would have been decent money.
There would be a couple that are not going to be re-signed as well. Elliot for one I'd say.

I'm not sure what CHN commanded but he would've been a real asset. Ryan James not so much.

I don't think we can go into 2021 with what we have now minus Thommo.

Young guns to upgrade and keep are as good as hitting the market for new buys.
Coming through we have:
Cust
Schuster
Olokoatu
Funa
Hoppa
Saddler

Stars we already have:
Chez, AFB, Siro, Tapuau, Suli, Turbo, Jake, Walker, Fainu

Bargain buys we have:
Parker, Garrick, Levi, Boyle

We are a younger side and all these young guys are only gonna get better.
I think we have the side and squad to win a premiership already. A lot depends on Fainu coming back and Turbo being fit but if Schuster, Hoppa and the like are as good as everyone says then we certainly don't need to hit the market. Maybe a back up half if Metcalfe isn't re signed and maybe a strike winger depending on what happens with Hoppa.

CHN out of our price range as he was looking for a contract this year. Ryan James plays the position we have the most strength/depth in.

Absolutely you are allowed to have your opinion and thanks for sharing it with us
Those players you mentioned would have been handy and who knows who Des has on his hit list but we have upgraded some of our big stars that we were able to keep and also singed up and coming players like Cust and Schuster . Also there is another young Turbo waiting on the wings and ready to fly soon and we would like to have the money to spend on him
