Are we an ageing team?

well if you think it's "working" with Buhrer and we play him there again, we can re-sell our gf tixs for profit. Definitely right about T-Rex the last few years but he played there most of his junior career. Can't ever recall Buhrer at centre in juniors. Supercoach Des thought T-Rex was okay at winger/occasionally centre (when injuries occurred) and he knows a thing or two. T-Rex played rep schoolboys in the backs so he must have been adequate.
Of course it's not ideal but at least we have someone who played many seasons out wide compared to poor Buhrer who can't seem to find/lock down any position in the team. If we are going to do this, maybe put Liam Foran on the bench. He can play hooker, lock and 5/8 as well. Very impressive defender and probably would shore up the train line at right centre (no lyon)

Will see Jace hiding at my workplace next week. Problem is that I can't bag him out as we got chumped.

If defence was the only worry, mid game lyon injury, id move foz to left centre, gift 5/8 Matai right centre and move lussick into gift's spot.

Jase, Stefan and Darren sounds like a b grade porno movie

But as you said neither of us are coaches. They're usually better decision makers than fans lol.

Also, remember Hasler kept Chris Barely at 5/8 for a year. He's not always right...

ha ha Bailey, forgot about him lol, Vaeliki was another. Losing Jamie is such a loss. Glenn seems to be affected by it as well. I really feel for Buhrer as he can offer loads at dummy half.

Sheik, trying to keep abit of humour on here. Gets KE excited. lol

DT - THE mail is getting stronger that Brent Kite will leave Manly after this season for Wests Tigers. The Sea Eagles are battling salary cap issues.

Manly Daily September,12
And Galuvao had good news that he had been cleared to play after injuring his ankle last Friday night against the Bulldogs.
He also confirmed that he would back up with the Sea Eagles for his 15th season in the NRL in 2013.

Wonder if Kitey is leaving us?
Hope he goes out with another Clive Churchill Medal and more bling

Twill be mighty strange to see BK1 in another jersey. Then again after all the events of the last year nothing should phase me.

The Who said:
This is a young man's sport and many of our squad are 'veterans'. Is this having an effect on our second half performances?
I think the same question can be asked of the Storm. It's hard to remain on top.
I know we have a crop of Toyota Cup locals, and young recruits coming . . . .
Just asking your opinion.

Probably not in my opinion. Steve Menzies is still powering on ad he is close to 40 years old !!!

In saying that though, you have to prepare for life after the mature players retire (all at once).

One can not always remain at the top, sad but life works in cycles, highs and lows.
