Are Coaches The Scapegoats??

All Manly supporters can see what's needed to make us more competitive.
1. Tom Turbo is a must, yet he doesn't get selected unless there is an injury. Apart from Snake, he is the best back we have.
2. Balin needs backup. Hodges has been the answer since the start of the season.
3. Hasson is, at best, a reserve grader. But if you select him in the 17 it is only fair to give him more than a few minutes on the field to prove himself.
If team selections are part of a coaches role - which naturally we assume they are - then 2V has failed.

Tom T...he got the call-up, and then got injured. As good as he was in the 20's its always a massive call bringing a kid up to firsts.... So credit must go to Tooves.

Coaches must pay the price for the teams failures. Otherwise teams would end up like Doesntmatta breaching multiple salary caps by wholesale turfing of underperforming or overpaid players.

In 2V's case he has a duel problem. One being he is on the wrong political side of the owners, and two his team is dead last.

Removing players whilst retaining the coach would also put a lot of additional "us (remaining players) v them (new players) " mentality into a team. Not exactly a harmonious situation.

2V has done well with Dessies team. Remains to be seen if he can do well with one of his own making. In all honesty, he probably won't get the chance though.
