Anyone else feel sad

Yeh it’s just a footy game.
But after over 40 years as a supporter I feel disheartened.
No effort or belief and I am in Qld watching this horrible performance.
Will never give up on my team....sad thing is they have given up on me.

I’m with you man... I was really excited for this season to kick off. P1ss poor from Manly today, right across the park. Paseka looks the goods, but unfortunately, the way we are heading will influence the best young talent to look elsewhere for greener pastures I imagine.

Every time we get beaten justifies my support of the previous coach and his staff.

If they don't bring him back just get Donny Singe and some of his team back.

Syria is much like today's game....one side is doing things with precision and power, while the other bumbles around dropping stuff when they aren't meant to.

Don't think they have mate. Not for me anyway.
Footy is a game of inches. Today after an awesome start by the Tigers we let ourselves down with penalties/dropped balls....probably from all the defence we had to do.... That's enough to lose a game.
Am I sad, sure. But they kept fighting (just couldn't recover after so much Tigers possession).
Paseka looked great. Thompson looked great. Gosie looked great. AFB, Taupau looked great. Walker looked great. A lot of them played well. Just couldn't recover. That's footy sometimes when you spend the first 15-20mins with 20% of the ball.

We'll be back. Head up.

Also felt I was having myself on in the sense we were belting them on their own try line as in 10m out on tackle 5 early on.....they get a mystery penalty and score 16 points before we see the ball again. Not to say that’s ok....just how momentum can change...my problem is the old Manly I know use this as motivation and hit harder in defence and attack from that point

I honestly don't feel this is the Manly club we all knew and loved. It's full of Shark (Gorman), Tigers (Cousins), Dragons (Barrett), Titans (Ferris & Cartwright) & other imposters. THere's no Manly left in us. Especially with the complete lack of effort, heart and passion in these performances - there's no accountability.

Reckon Trent would dump two of his best players like Stuart did, and tell his squad they are at risk of losing their places (short and long term) in the team?

No, our players are complacent, due to our lack of depth, and there is 0 effort and care in the result. I spent another 500 bucks on tickets for these blokes this season ! Ooof. At least I cared.

Excellent from you Ryan. The fabric that is Manly went when 2V got the flick. Barrett and co don't understand the culture and they never will.

Feel gutted however there is always next week and with such a young team we have to learn to take the bad with the good. I have the Parra game recoded on IQ so watched it after the game today for therapy.

4 weeks ago we were patting ourselves on the back for putting 50 on Parra and we were premiership bound. Swings and roundabouts. We have potential, and today we were nowhere near living up to it.

The thing I find most sad is that we have no real leaders in this team. Once things don't go our way we struggle to fight back - we are a front running team at the moment.

The only Manly there is Zorba could that explain it ??
I don’t know Zorba personally only on the outside looking in but his previous comments and actions don’t inspire me like the stature of a previous coach (Toovs )

It's only Rd 6. Footy season is so long. Plenty time hopefully to turn it around. A lot of other good teams struggling at the moment too. If we played like that in Rd 26 I would be gutted. Hopefully get the win next week and we will all feel a lot better

Dont feel sad at all really.
I rate about 1/4 of our players and think we have close to the worst bench in the comp. Were average. No 2 ways about it. Dont go into any games confident of a win with this current squad.
As Metallica would say, it's sad but true
